The basis of reliablefunctioning and maximum durability is the hardness andcorrosion resistance of an instrument. We determine thehardness by means of precision measuring techniques, inaccordance with the standard DIN 50 103 Part 1, inRockwell C (HRC) and we test the corrosion resistance withthe traditional boiling test. Only instruments which meetthe requirements of the DIN 58 298 standard are accepted.A final functional test, like, for example, the testing of the cutting capabilityof scissors, biopsy forceps, bone rongeur forceps etc., the elasticity test forclamps and needle holders, the fitting test for our scalpel handles and blades,the test for the opening width and clamping of tweezers etc. guaranteecustomer satisfaction.
