Joseph’s <strong>Academy</strong> class of 1988 celebratedtheir 20-year reunion during a weekend filled with activities.The festivities began on Friday, July 18, with a Girls’ NightOut celebration at the home of Kristen Uter Gilly. The graduatesbrought their favorite dishes to share.On Saturday, July 19, the celebrants and their families gatheredon the SJA campus for a picnic. The guests enjoyed a jambalayalunch, catered by Jason’s Catering, and a tour of campus led bySister Joan Laplace, CSJ.On Saturday evening, the group met at the Baton Rouge CountryClub for a party with the Catholic High School class of 1988.There was music and dancing until midnight.Ashley Duhon Deal traveled from California for the reunionweekend, and several classmates traveled from Georgia, Texas andFlorida.Chair of the reunion planning committee was Michelle BlakeneyMyers. She was assisted by <strong>St</strong>acey Emick Howell, Erin BernardEnright, Charla Acardo Wade, Kristen Uter Gilly, Amy WarringtonPerrault and Amy Roy Abadie.Class of 1998 Celebrates 10th ReunionMembers of the <strong>St</strong>. Joseph’s <strong>Academy</strong> class of 1998 celebrated their10th reunion with a weekend of activities.The weekend began on Friday, August 15, with a Girls’ Night Out atOn the Half Shell. Celebrants enjoyed dinner and socializing, with approximately50 classmates attending.On Saturday, August 16, the graduates convened on the SJA campusfor a picnic in the Dining Hall. The graduates enjoyed the opportunityto meet and/or visit with one another’s spouses and children. Classmatesand their family members also enjoyed a campus tour led by Sister JoanLaplace, CSJ.On Saturday evening, the group met at Boudreaux’s for a cocktailparty with the Catholic High class of 1998. The event was well-attended,Class of 1983 Celebrates 25th ReunionMembers of the <strong>St</strong>.Joseph’s <strong>Academy</strong> classof 1983 celebrated their25th reunion with a weekendof activities.On Friday, July 25, thegraduates met at Gino’sfor a Girls’ Night Outdinner. On Saturday, July26, the alumnae and theirspouses, as well as theircounterparts from theCatholic High Schoolclass of 1983, gatheredat the home of TanieThe SJA/CHS 25th reunion planning committeeincluded (seated, left to right) Tanie McRobertsBush, Nancy Carona Chevalier, Beth Dantin Donner,(standing) Francine Graphia, Ross DeNicola,Terri Nola Baldwin, Carol Atkinson Latour, ChrisWagner and Hugo Marrero.McRoberts Bush for a casual summer social. Decorations featuredhigh school memorabilia, and a slide show was prepared by TraceyKelleher, wife of Patrick Kelleher, CHS class of 1983.Among the 35 participating alumnae, Catherine Dent Eliasbergtraveled the greatest distance, coming from Los Angeles, whereshe is currently acting in The Shield on the FX network. AngelleGraves Hamilton came from Atlanta, and several graduates traveledfrom Texas and other surrounding states.Reunion planning committee members were Carol AtkinsonLatour, Tanie McRoberts Bush, Francine Graphia, Terri Nola Baldwin,Beth Dantin Donner, Nancy Carona Chevalier and MichelleLorio <strong>St</strong>. Martin. Volunteers for the Saturday night party includedTori McRoberts, Tracey Kelleher and Elaine Atkinson.Also joining the fun were Jacqueline Labat, who taughtFrench to the alumnae, Sister Carolyn Brady, CSJ, and SisterJoan Laplace, CSJ.with approximately 300graduates and friendscelebrating together.Chairing the planningcommittee wereAnne Spurlock Perroneand Katie MichelThorne.
