In poor physicalcondition, it was pure force of will that enabled him to admirablyand successfully perform three CTO-PCI cases and deliver alecture on the history of CCT. He emphasized the importance of theantegrade approach and the importance of guidewire manipulationas basic procedures in CTO-PCI. This is the soul of CCT. ComplexPCI of CTOs and LMT diseases are extensions of thesefundamentals gained from PCI. By no means is CCT about onlyperforming complex procedures.We have new coronary course directors of CCT whose purposehere is to disseminate or transfer skills and knowhow to a newgeneration of physicians. With strategies backed by thefundamentals of the senior PCI masters and centering around theircraft, and with our program that focuses on high quality livedemonstrations by selected operators in the main live and masterlive theaters and that includes lectures from both domestic andinternational specialists, hands-on sessions, etc., it is our wish topromote the universal succession of our craft to the nextgeneration.Please make a connection with the world-class techniques ofmaster operators and get in touch with the spirit of PCI.
