SWIM PROGRAMThe 2013 Summer Aquatics Program (June, July, and August) includesAmerican Red Cross swimming lessons and recreational swimmingat four pool locations throughout the city. The swimming lessonswill emphasize the development of swimming skills to promotepersonal safety, health and exercise, as well as social interaction.Pools will open Monday, June 24, 2013 for swim lessons and recreationalswimming. Swim passes, pool rentals, and other swimming opportunitiesare also available. To schedule a pool rental or for more information aboutthe summer program, call 741-5200.Registration will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis as classcapacity allows. Fees are payable at the time of registration by cash, check,or credit card. Checks are made payable to the City of Garden Grove.Request for a refund must be made one week prior to the start of the class.There will be a $5.00 processing fee for each class refund.SWIM LESSONS:Swim classes are held Monday through Thursday, 40 minutes each dayfor two (2) weeks. All swim classes consist of eight (8) lessons. The fee foreach session is $45.00/$50.00 per student. Private lessons will be offeredat times not being used for group lessons. The fee for a series of four (4),40-minute private lessons is $80.00/$85.00.
