Wherever yourwaterway journey takes you, besure to catch the Dora Canal.The most well-known waterwayin Lake County was describedin the 1930s by a sports writeras “the most beautiful mile ofwater in the world.” The canal,lined with towering cypress treesdraped with Spanish moss, is asafe haven for nesting birds.
