EmbroideryEmbroidery is one of the first enhancements most customers look at when considering decoration of VF Imagewear apparel. A logoannounces to the world who you represent and a strong first impression can make a big difference in business. Imagine It can handle allaspects of your embroidery needs. We can create a logo from scratch or digitize and re-work an existing image. We offer a wide selectionof thread colors constructed from a 60% Poly / 40% Cotton blend that insures vibrancy as well as colorfastness. Read on to see some ofthe options available within the world of embroidery…SP50LTSEG2LDHow to Request a Custom Logo• Go on-line - Visit www.vfimagewear.com and click on CUSTOM LOGOto submit your logo image / artwork.• Formats - Acceptable formats for artwork of logo include: .TIF, .BMP,.JPG, .EPS, or submit previously digitized file (tajima format preferred).• Color / Thread Limitations - Custom logos are limited to 9 colors.• Size - A typical left or right chest location is about 2 ½" x 3½".Small detail in a logo design may require resizing or an adjustment sothat detail can be seen. See following pages for size guidelines ongarments and locations.• Digitizing Fees - 1 - 8,000 stitches - $95.00*. 8,001 stitchesand up - $125.00*• Color Changes - There is a $25.00* fee for changing colors to anexisting logo if a new logo number is required.• Revisions - Charges for revisions are determined based upon complexity.There may be up to a $50.00* fee for customer requested revisions.SP60MB• Timeline - Please allow up to 3 days to receive a sew-off of customlogos. These threads are also acceptedby the industrial laundry industry. Using good laundrypractices, as outlined in the “Red Kap Guide to LaundryProcessing,” will produce acceptable results withindustrial processed garments. Thread OptionsThe thread colors pictured here are from A & E Signaturethreads, and are a 60% Poly / 40% Cotton blended product.They have excellent color retention with a high lusterfinish, are strong to prevent breakage, and have very goodabrasion resistance that will stand up to the rigors ofindustrial washing. We feel these threads perform well inmost embroidery applications and recommend their use.Since the conditions of end use, washing, pressing andother curing techniques are beyond our control, the userof the end product should always determine if this threadchoice is the best for their purposes.For home wash embroidery applications, we also inventoryRobison-Anton Super Strength Rayon thread. This thread isslightly smaller in size and creates a high shine finishedproduct.
