Southg<strong>at</strong>e <strong>School</strong>Each year the students decide on a theme for theevening and this year we were transported downthe rabbit hole to Alice’s Adventures inWonderland. Each table was beautifully decor<strong>at</strong>ed,and mirrored the theme on the columns, whichwere encircled with blue s<strong>at</strong>in and images from theclassic children’s book, all this was overseen by asmiling Cheshire c<strong>at</strong> resplendent <strong>at</strong> the back of thestage. Against this stunning backdrop there was arange of amazing entertainment including the EllaMartin Dance Company fe<strong>at</strong>uring our very ownKurran Tailor, Tom Kane and M<strong>at</strong>t Chrisostomou.As in previous years I was delighted to welcomeback some of our media gradu<strong>at</strong>es, who arecurrently studying <strong>at</strong> university, in particular,George Garrood who provided valuable supportand guidance both before the event and on thenight. It was also gre<strong>at</strong> to see a number of pastMedia Studies students, Emily and Louise Fawthrop,Richard Isley, Shanel Ertun, Anthea Mappoura,Sam Louka, Stella Greorgiou, Kerri Loizou comealong as guests in support of the event.The Evening was a resounding success,enjoyed by everyone who took part.
