Part 3. Execution3.013.01.1 ExaminationThe glazing contractor shall examine the framing and glazing channelsurfaces and backing as well as the conditions under which the glazing isto be performed. The glazing contractor shall also inspect each Okalux®<strong>Plus</strong> unit prior to installation. Any units deemed to be damaged or ofquestionable quality should be brought to the attention of the supplier,SCHOTT North America, Inc, immediately and prior to installation.3.01.2 GlazingOkalux® <strong>Plus</strong> light diffusing insulating glass should be installed inaccordance with the general rules applicable for insulating glass. Theglazing plane support system must be free of any internal obstructions andstructurally adequate for the application.3.01.3 InstallationAs with any insulated glass, the dimensions of units used are limited bythe type, thickness of glass and project load requirements.August 2011
