Butthe cost of distribution will depend heavily on internationalagreements, such as the pending EU approval schedules.Those challenges, which Argentina has navigated thus far,might be enough to make other countries think twice abouthow to implement their own biotech crop plans, but at leastin Argentina, Yankelevich says, “there's no going back.”
Agriculture is not just about technology, since itembodies a culture and there are political andsociological over tones.
