Ordersfor this book may be placed through ourbookstore by phoning (217)732-3168, ext.2224. It will be available in print form fromCollege Press and in electronic form fromLOGOS Research Systems (Bellingham,Washington). Please see the followingendorsements of Dr. Lowery'sbook on Revelation:Dr. Lowery conducts us deeply into the symphonythat is Revelation. His wise guidance helps us hearthe music coming from the throne room. Thisdeepens our devotion. And then we are drawn toworship in ways that are practical, pastoral andevangelistic–just as the Lamb leads. I can't wait tohear volumes two and three! – Tony Twist, PhD,D.Min., President, TCM InternationalInstitute, Heiligenkreuz, AustriaPopular level guides to the Book of Revelationabound, but most of them either insist that the lastbook of the Bible is a road map of current events or12a source for reconstructing first-century history only. Lowery avoids both of thesepitfalls and deftly leads the lay person or college undergraduate down a safe pathto interpretive sanity. Enjoyably written andpeppered with personal illustrations, Lowery sets thestage for what he hopes will be two more volumes onthe Apocalypse: a brief commentary and an analysisof some of the more disputed exegetical andhermeneutical issues not touched on in thisintroduction. [This is] a welcome addition to acrowded field and one which clearly stands out fromthe crowd! – Craig L. Blomberg (Ph.D.),Distinguished Professor of New Testament,Denver Seminary, Littleton, COFor over twenty-five years I have been inspired bythe teaching, scholarship, and passion of Dr.Robert Lowery. In fact, I still turn to him forBiblical insights, understanding, and accurateapplication. He approaches one of the mostintimidating books of Scripture with the precisionof a surgeon and the love and concern of a closefriend. Your intellect will be stretched, yourassumptions challenged, and your soul infusedwith new hope. – Gene Appel, Lead Pastor,Willow Creek Community Church, SouthBarrington, IL
