And the more you studied,the more you would find that the Trinity is built on avery shaky foundation indeed.The problems inherent in clearly explaining the Trinityare expressed in nearly every technical article or bookon the subject.The New Catholic Encyclopedia begins: "It is difficult,in the second half of the 20th century, to offer a clear,objective, and straightforward account of the revelation,doctrinal evolution, and the theological elaboration of themystery of the Trinity. Trinitarian discussion, RomanCatholic as well as other, presents a somewhat unsteadysilhouette" (Vol. XIV, p. 295).
