Cone crushers KDC, lowering of operatingCRUSHINGCrushing chamber of the secondary crusherCrushing chamber of the tertiary crusherCone crusher KDC 33 GP – chert crushingCone crusher KDC 36 GP – basalt crushing16Constant crushing space of the cone crusher KDCCone crushers KDC have advanced crushingchambers that keep the final productparameters uniform. The crushing chamberis of a curved design with the vertical area ofthe opening at the inlet remaining constantalmost throughout the service life of crushingelements. This design maintains a constanthigh output level without changing the productparameters.Crushing elements, except for the KDC 26xxand 36xx, are not grouted and can be easilyand quickly exchanged. The fact that no pottantis used shortens the shutdown time and lowersthe dependence on climatic conditions. In caseof freezing, it is possible to exchange worncrushing elements outside the heated area.Crusher shells with big rings can be usedrepeatedly. The independent rings improve theseating of the crusher casing along the entireheight of the casing body.The size of inlet openings of tertiary crusherscorresponds to the aggregate passing throughscreens of 32, 63, 90, 120 and 150 mm. Theshape design of crushing chambers withsecondary and tertiary crushers KDC resultsin a higher quality of the final product andlower operating costs by reducing wear of thecrushing elements.Principle parameters of secondary crushers KDCTypeSettingMax. inletpiece*Capacity El motormm mm t/h kWKDC 22 HP 19 - 35 188 80 - 180 75 - 90KDC 23 VP 25 - 50 270 135 - 300KDC 23 HP 20 - 42 220 120 - 265110 - 132KDC 25 EP 30-65 430 240 - 590 200KDC 25 VP 30 - 63 330 240 - 560KDC 25 HP 24 - 52 260 190 - 460160 - 200KDC 26 VP 35 - 65 430 340 - 800KDC 26 HP 25 - 55 345 250 - 680 250 - 315KDC 26 SH 25 - 55 280 230 - 650Principle parameters of tertiary crushers KDCType Setting Max. inlet piece* Capacity El. motormm mm t/h kWKDC 32 SP 10 - 25 101 45 - 120KDC 32 JP 6 - 22 73 35 - 105 75 - 90KDC 32 FP 4 - 16 43 30 - 80KDC 33 SP 14 - 32 150 80 - 205KDC 33 JP 10 - 25 115 65 - 170KDC 33 GP 8 - 22 80 50 - 150KDC 33 FP 6 - 18 45 45 - 135KDC 35 SP 18 - 42 190 160 - 420KDC 35 JP 12 - 32 115 130 - 340KDC 35 GP 10 - 28 80 110 - 320KDC 35 FP 8 - 20 50 100 - 250KDC 36 SP 20 - 45 220 220 - 600KDC 36 JP 14 - 35 125 180 - 500KDC 36 GP 12 - 30 90 160 - 420KDC 36 FP 10 - 25 60 150 - 380110 - 132160 - 200250 - 315* Max. inlet piece is 80 – 100% of the inlet opening defined with the square mesh.Stated capacities and minimum settings are only informative and depend on properties andcomposition of the crushed material and way of feeding.

Recycling impact crushers ODRRecycling impact crushers ODR are necessaryfor processing secondary materials such asbuilding debris, plain concrete, reinforcedconcrete and bituminous surfaces of roads.Crushers ODR are adaptable for a single-stagecrushing in cases of large inlet grain sizes.Crushers ODR are also used in conventionaltreatment plants for medium hard and hardmaterials. The finish crushing plate positionedin the lower part of the crusher calibrates theoutlet size of the product. In such cases thesize of inlet material is adapted. The variabilityof the ODR crusher design allows operation incrushing stages where the materials are softer. The structure of the crusher is adaptable sothat it can be mounted on wheels and for semimobileinstallations. At present the use of recycled materials iswide-ranging. Impact crushers are usedtypically for the processing of quality productswith guaranteed properties. The advantageof the design of crushers ODR is highlyyielding for smaller fractions (< 45 mm) withan excellent shape index (b i3< 20%). Vertical shaft impactors ODVCRUSHINGVertical shaft impactors ODV are used forproduction of aggregates yielding a highcontent of cubic grains and where a high yieldof small fractions is required (0 – 4 mm).Crushers ODV are utilized in the last stages ofcrushing as “cubic-grain machines”, they precrushthe prepared fractions and improve theshape index. By improving the shape index, theportion of defective grains is decreased from45% to 15% or from 70% to 20% and possiblyeven higher according to material propertiesin combination with peripheral velocity of therotor. The higher the rotor velocity is, the lowerthe amount of improper grains.Crushers ODV can be used for a widespectrum of materials, hard and soft, abrasiveand non-abrasive.The crusher parts are manufactured of highlywear resistant materials. Great emphasis isplaced on the design so that the parts areinterchangeable without using a lifting device. The design of the crusher also helps to extendthe service life by limiting the contact of thematerial with the armoring in the crushingspace.Vertical shaft impactor ODV 1186SM – gravelcrushingThe exceptional operating properties of vertical shaft impactors ODV are:• High operating reliability• Low cost for operating and maintenance• Simple maintenanceDescription of the rotor• Highly wear resistant materials of maincrushing components• Easy exchange of crushing elementsThe material is charged to the rotor and forcedagainst the crushing space by centrifugalforce. The crushing space is designed with thefollowing type of walls:• ODV-S – stone-stone system• ODV-M and ODV-SM – stone-metalsystemODV-S crushers are used in final stages oftreatment lines where a very good shape indexis required and the degree of comminutiondoes not exceed 2.ODV-M and ODV-SM crushers are used wherea very good shape index is required witha higher degree of comminution up to 5.Crushing efficiency is regulated by changing theperipheral velocity of the rotor when the drivingbelt is changed or by a frequency converter.Vertical shaft impactor ODV 1186S – andesitecrushingVertical shaft impactor ODV 1186M – gravelcrushing22Grain size distribution of the product – examples0102030405060708090Andésite Andesite 70 m/s(S)Granite 54 m/s(M)Granite 70 m/s(M)Alluvionnaire Gravel 60 m/s 60 m/s (M)Alluvionnaire Gravel 70 m/s 60 m/s (M)1001 10 100Maille square du mesh tamis size carré (mm) (mm)oversize Refus au material tamis (%)Principle parameters of vertical shaft impactors ODVTypeEntrance* velocity PeripheralofMax.the rotorcapacityTotallengthTotalwidthBuildingheightPowerinputmm m/s t/h mm mm mm kWODV 1183S/SM 32 80 10-50 2650 1404 1481 37-55ODV 1186S/SM 50 75 50-140 3600 2410 1750 90-160ODV 1186M 50 75 50-140 3290 1950 1750 90-160ODV 1187S/SM 70 75 100-250 3800 2600 1860 110-200ODV 1187M 70 75 100-250 3490 2140 1860 110-200ODV 1188S/SM 70 70 150-450 4710 3310 2400 200-315ODV 1188M 70 70 150-450 3981 2372 2400 200-315* undersize of square mesh sizeStated capacities are only informative and depend on the properties and composition of thecrushed material, way of feeding and peripheral velocity of the rotor.

Impact hammer crushers OKDImpact hammer crushers OKD are ofa progressive design that combines theadvantages of impact crushers with thoseof hammer crushers. Crushers OKD arepredominantly used for single-stage crushingof extracted limestone, dolomite, gypsum, limestone marl as well as other medium hardmaterials and materials that contain stickingclays and loams. As a rule, crushers OKD areused in the cement industry where ball millsare part of the grinding plant.CRUSHINGThe exceptional operating properties of impact hammer crushers OKD are:• High operating reliability• Low cost for operating and maintenance• Long service life of main crushing elements• High specific throughput• Excellent degree of comminution• Favorable specific electric powerconsumption• Favorable grain size distribution of theproduct• Capability to crush even materialscontaining sticky components• Insensitivity towards non-crushablemattersThe rotor of crushers OKD is fitted withstaggered hammers that cover the entireworking width of the crusher. This designtogether with the structural arrangement of thecrushing chamber provides a high crushingratio and has the capacity to process materialsthat could not be processed in the past. The grate is the second essential componentof the crushing space and limits the useof the crusher with regard to the materialstickiness. The grate is designed so that thefunctional plates act as a safety device whennon-crushable matter is trapped into thecrushing chamber. Catastrophic failures areminimized when the grate plate breaks. Theplate pieces do not come into contact with therotating hammers, instead, they fall freely intothe discharging hopper positioned under thecrusher.Impact hammer crusher OKD 1155 – cementmaterial crushingSketch of the impact hammer crusher OKD 1155 with the drivePrincipal parametersTypeEntranceOutletgrainsize**CapacityLength Width incl.incl. rotor rotorHeightPowerinputm 3 mm mm t/h mm mm mm kWOKD 1150 0.01 300 25 20 - 35 1330 2330 * 1500 30-35OKD 1151 0.01 300 25 45 - 70 1330 2800 * 1500 55-75OKD 1152 0.08 600 25 70 - 100 2000 3650 * 2300 100-130OKD 1153.1 0.25 900 25 130-180 3500 4500 2900 200-250OKD 1153.2 0.3 900 25 190-250 3700 4700 2900 250-315OKD 1154 0.5 1200 25 240 - 320 5450 6300 3600 320-500OKD 1155 0.75 1500 25 370 - 500 5850 9000 4500 500-800OKD 1156 1 1800 25 550 - 720 6500 9500 5450 1000-1250OKD 1158 1.2 1800 25 720 - 1100 7200 10100 5400 1400-2000* direct drive (optional, the crusher can be supplied with a belt drive)** 90% into 25 mm on the slot of the grate 40 mm.Stated capacities are only informative and depend on the properties and composition of thecrushed material and way of feeding.oversize material [%]Impact hammer crusher OKD 1155 – tilted partof the housing with the grateGrain size distribution of the productmesh size [mm]The field between the curves characterizes thecrushing ability of machines that depends onthe inlet size, the slot of the grate and kind ofcrushed material.23
