In addition,Winthrop has a major long-term lease presencein dozens more properties from Garden City toBethpage and beyond.The hospital has 27 faculty medical practices and 13Article 28 facilities—medical practices that are offsiteextensions of the main hospital. Among these arethe Cancer Center for Kids in Mineola, the region’slargest outpatient facility for children with cancer andhematologic conditions, a pediatric practice and aWomen’s Wellness Ob/Gyn practice, both located inHempstead.
