The structure is repeated on the lower part of the underlyingplatform, thus ensuring that entire unit is sturdy.The direct-operation lift piston is positioned to the sideof the column, maintaining structural integrity without anyholes which would weaken the structure.The column is fixed to the wall with perforated L-shapedsteel brackets that guarantee the utmost stability and safety.The shoulder connected to the platform is fixed to the upperend of the piston shaft which allows it to slide alongthe column.39

MOVE 20+20/2The photo shows the intermediate joint on the torsionbar.The lower platform has a hatch to access to the lower levelfor controls and maintenance.The access is set in the center of the platform so that it isaccessible even when vehicles are parked.The torsion bar is composed of two sections secured inthe center by a mechanical joint.The torsion bar system makes balancing the weight onthe platforms unnecessary, distributing any uneven weightalong the entire torsion bar and enabling the two pistonsto work symmetrically so they cannot be thrown out of balance.The hatch leading to the lower platform while open.40

The unit has a system that mechanicallyblocks the platform floor, ensuringplatform remains safely at the setlevel; it cuts in when the hydraulicallyoperated piston emerges from thecolumn.The piston emerging from the columnenters a special opening on the guideshoulder.When the piston enters this opening,the shoulder — which had surpassedthe piston itself by a few centimetersto facilitate insertion — dropsdown once more so that it rests onthe opening.At this point the entire hydraulic systemcan depressurise since the platformis mechanically locked at thelevel.The machine operating assembly is quite compact and takesup little space and yet it still provides easy access forcontrols and maintenance.The pushbutton control panel has an up button, a downbutton, a mushroom-shaped emergency button and activationkeys. Moreover, the panel is supplied with illustrationof the operations required to manage unit function.41
