a tramp through Hebron and Grotonbrought us there at last.To our great astonishment anddelight we found the pooljustswarmingwith trout and (forgetting evenour dinner which is something to begreatly wondered at), we cast inour lines baited with grasshoppers.and commenced to fish. Two hundredtrout of no small size couldeasily have been hooked that afternoonhad not the appearance of twoold farmers brought the fishingabruptly to a close; for they soon informedthe campers that the brookwas closed under the law. However,the lunch which was promptly eatenafter this disclosure had been madedid something to calm the indignantfeelings of our young sportsmen.After a delightful soak among thefishes and an important meeting ofthe Browning Club we started on ourhomeward tramp and reached campabout four o'clock.CHARLES R. Mr. Holt gave the best talkof the season, and was followed ·with the keenest attention on thepart of those present. After theaddress Mr. Olds sang "I Heard theVoice of Jesus Say.'' It is a rareand much to be desired treat whenwe have such a solo from one of the<strong>Camp</strong>. The addition of the pianowas most inspiring for the <strong>Camp</strong>choir, who sung their best. Andthe service this morning emphasizedthe fact that our singing soundstwice as well when accompanied bya musical instrument. We hopethat the day may come when weshall have a small organ added toQur already beautiful chapel.L. C.
