They are in use around theworld in various applications; from standard applicationssuch as emissions monitoring or combustion optimizationup to the measure ment of trace oxygen in ultra-puregases.The SIPROCESS GA700 with OXYMAT 7 module is the firstmember of a new product family of extractive gas analyzerdevices. The SIPROCESS GA700 series is based on aplatform concept that is independent of the measurementtask. The base unit forms the basis for the integration ofvarious analytic modules and provides a foundation formore flexibility and economic efficiency.SIPROCESS GA700 as rack unit (left), wall-mounted device (right) and OXYMAT 7 module (middle)siemens.com/processanalytics

Each of these modulesconsists of the actual analyzer and the sensor electronics, including the evaluation software and required interfaces.Highly accurate measurementThe OXYMAT 7 measures oxygen according to theparamagnetic alternating pressure principle. Thedetector unit does not come into contact with thesample gas, and is therefore suitable for use with corrosivemeasurement gases while simultaneously ensuringa long service life. It is suited for demanding applicationswhere reliability and measurement quality is crucial. The parameter assignment of the smallest measurementranges is possible here, for example:• 0 to 0.5 % and• 99.5 to 100 %each with a detection limit of 50 ppm.ApplicationsSIPROCESS GA700 OXYMAT 7 is the first choice for allapplications in which the oxygen concentration has tobe measured continuously and reliably. The possibilitiesfor use are numerous and varied: from quality or processmonitoring in test stands in the automobile industry,in air separation plants or generally in the chemicalindustry, to combustion optimization in steel furnacesor rotary kilns in the steel and cement industries, up tosafety measure ment or leak monitoring in the oil andgas industries.Siemens AGIndustry SectorSensors and CommunicationProcess Analytics76181 KARLSRUHEGERMANYSubject to change without prior notice© 04/2013, Siemens AGThe information provided in this brochurecontains descriptions or characteristics of performancewhich in case of actual use do not alwaysapply as described or which may change as aresult of further development of the products. An obligation to provide the respective featuresshall only exist if expressly agreed in the terms ofcontract.
