The ro<strong>of</strong> height <strong>of</strong> vehicles which carry more than two wheelchairs should allowescorts to stand upright when assisting passengers to and from seats andmanoeuvring wheelchairs (1.8m minimum).13. All seats must be fitted with appropriate seat belts in accordance with the Conditions<strong>of</strong> Contract.14. Distinctive yellow and black signs must be displayed to the front and rear <strong>of</strong> allvehicles with more than eight seats while transporting pupils to and from school, inaccordance with the Road Vehicles Lighting (Amendment) Regulations 1994. Thesesigns must be plainly visible to other road users.8
