KIDS for the BAY will work with your studentsto conduct an action project that helps protect the local environment.Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Rot!Ever wonder where our garbage goes, or what happened to that plastic water bottle you recycled? In thisthree-hour presentation students will dive into the world of garbage and learn easy and practical ways to usethe Four Rs and make less waste. Young scientists will investigate red wiggler worms and compost, analyzewasteful packaging, and make recycled paper.Want to extend the learning?Additional Presentation: KftB will deepen the learning experience by leading an additional three-hourpresentation. Students will build their own model landfills and learn about natural resource conservation.Action Project: Empower your students to make a difference!
