In large commercial or residentialapplications with numerous protection points, it can greatly reduceyour installation time, saving you money. For example, to connectdoor/window contacts, glassbreak detectors or motion detectorswhere needed, all you have to do is run a single two-conductor wirearound the perimeter of the installation. No more long wire runs backto the main control panel or expander module for each zone. Also,each detector is assigned a specific zone number for individual pointidentification, making service a snap. If future expansion is required,it’s as simple as tapping off the existing AML loop.AMX-400Loop Repeater/Isolator Module• Can be used to repeat and re-powerthe AML loop to allow for longerwire runs:- Requires 12 VDC power source• Will isolate the wire run in theevent of a problemThe AML uses a simple two-wire cable for both power and data, andany addressable detector can be connected anywhere. Burglary andfire detection devices can be combined on the same wire run withthe use of the AML-770 isolator module.All detectors are engineered to require extremely low current (someas low as 0.8 mA each). In the case of extremely long wire runs, or ifa large number of detectors are required, the AMX-400repeater/isolator is perfect for expanding the system to whatever sizeis required.MAXSYS ®Addressable CompatibilityThe MAXSYS control panel has full AML support built right into thecontrol panel, and all 128 zones can be programmed as addressable.Both PGM outputs have been engineered to support AML detectors,each providing up to 170 mA of current.AML-770Loop Isolator Module• Can be used to isolate burglarydetectors from fire detectors onthe same wire runPowerSeries TMAddressable CompatibilityAddressable zone support can be added to either the Power832 ® orPower864 TM with the addition of the PC5100 module.
