Snap fromcenter of column out toward eachend of column.Step 3Install horizontal plate with twoscrews into two pre-drilled holes.If you have to cut down the column,drill two holes 3 1/2" from end ofcolumn. Snappre-finished cover over plate.Step 4Install cap and base over ends ofcolumn.
