It takes studentathletesand makes them into great peopleand fearless competitors. Second, anyone whobecomes a part of this program becomes partof a family. We’ve been able to create a familyatmosphere, and that’s due in no small partto the coaching relationship Jerry and I have, having been together for 14 years. It’s one ofthe things that separates us as a program. The continuity has allowed CMU to continue atradition of excellence. What type of gymnast are you looking forwhen you are out recruiting? We are looking for student-athletes who arewilling to give 100 percent effort every day,who are willing to push themselves to improve, and who want to be the best.
