Position the beams based on your mostcommon sized dies, and you will maximize thenumber of dies stored on each rack.Both Platen and Bobst storage sections can becombined on a single rack, and a label locatorsystem makes die retrieval quickand easy.Platen die storage racks store up to 177 dies, andthe Bobst racks up to 90 dies. Standard units are12’ high (different frame heights are available), 10’long and 48” or 60” deep. 5,000 lbs. can becarried on the lower (5”) channel beams, 6’ fromthe floor. While the 2 upper (4”) channel beamscan each hold up to 2,500 lbs.Each storage system is designed for maximumsupport, constructed of heavy gauge steel andtriple-welded for superior strength and durability.They are easy to assemble using the heavy dutyhardware that’s provided with each unit.A close-up view of the “T” configurationof rack slides used on Platen storagesystems.
