WARRANTY INFORMATIONAs the outboard engine owner, you should, however, be awarethat Mercury Marine may deny you warranty coverage if youroutboard engine or a part has failed due to abuse, neglect,improper maintenance, or unapproved modifications.You are responsible for presenting your outboard to a Mercurydealer authorized to service the product as soon as a problemexists. Engines meeting thesestandards have 75% lower emissions thanconventional carbureted two‐stroke engines.These engines are equivalent to the U.S. EPA's2006 standards for marine engines.Two Stars ‐ Very Low Emission42537The Two Star label identifies engines that meetthe Air Resources Board's Personal Watercraftand Outboard marine engine 2004 exhaustemissions standards.
