42 43CONDITIONERTINE-ROTOR CONDITIONERThe spring tine rotor and the four-way adjustable conditioning comb produce a wavy forage structurepermeable to air, the result of a number of interacting tools which open the top layer of the leaves, thusfacilitating the drainage of water. A loose, airy swath is deposited and, in this, the grass is dried quicklydue to the intensive air circulation. In addition, the discharge of any soil moisture is also supported. The super C flexible tines are fitted as standard with loss protection and they are extremely resistantto foreign objects in the forage. Due to the preparation intensity, which can be easily adjusted using acounter-comb, a costly adjustment to the speed using a separate gear box is not necessary. This savesweight, reduces the maintenance effort and therefore saves you costs. The conditioner is driven usinguniversal joints and is secured against overload using a shear bolt – a simple, but reliable drive concept.WHY CHOOSE A CONDITIONER?The mower-conditioner combination shortens the natural fermentation process of the mowed forage byhours. This gives you a decisive time advantage, particularly in unstable weather conditions – a quickerand safer way to produce your quality forage.By using a conditioner, the waxy coating of the forage is rubbed off and a loose, airy swath is deposited– thus saving you from having to perform an additional working process with the tedder. This notonly has a positive effect on your costs but also on the quality of your forage, because it reduces thedisintegration losses and forage contamination to a minimum. FELLA offers two different conditionersfor their mowers. You can choose between the tine-rotor conditioner (KC) and the roller conditioner (RC).!At a glance:Fermentation process is shortenedDisintegration losses and forage contamination are reduced to a minimumDecisive advantage in adverse weather conditionsLower costsImproved forage qualityTine-rotor conditionerRoller conditionerROLLER CONDITIONERWith two robust interlocking rubber profile elements for intensive but gentle preparation of legumes orother leafy forage.
