In FY 2009, no NITRD agency entered into grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, or cooperativeresearch and development agreements for information technology research and development with either 1) acompany other than a company that is either incorporated or located in the U.S. and that has majority ownershipby individuals who are citizens of the U.S., or 2) an educational institution or nonprofit institution located outsidethe U.S. In FY 2009, no NITRD procurement exceeds $1 million for unmanufactured articles, materials, orsupplies mined or produced outside the U.S., or for manufactured articles, materials, or supplies other than thosemanufactured in the U.S. substantially all from articles, materials, or supplies mined, produced, or manufacturedin the U.S.Cover design and printing: The cover was designed by NSF Scientific Designer/Illustrator James J.
