Professor Dr. Henning Kagermann is chairman of the<br />
Executive Board of <strong>SAP</strong> AG <strong>and</strong> CEO. From 1998 to 2003,<br />
he was cochairman of the <strong>SAP</strong> Executive Board <strong>and</strong> CEO,<br />
together with Hasso Plattner, cofounder of <strong>SAP</strong>. Following<br />
Plattner’s election as chairman of the <strong>SAP</strong> Supervisory<br />
Board in May 2003, Kagermann became sole chairman of<br />
the Executive Board of <strong>SAP</strong> AG <strong>and</strong> CEO. Kagermann<br />
has overall responsibility for <strong>SAP</strong>’s strategy <strong>and</strong> business<br />
development <strong>and</strong> oversees the areas of corporate consulting,<br />
global communications, global intellectual property,<br />
internal audit, <strong>and</strong> top talent management.<br />

Shai Agassi, president of the Product <strong>and</strong> Technology<br />
<strong>Group</strong>, has been a member of the Executive Board of<br />
<strong>SAP</strong> AG since April 2002. He is responsible for the global<br />
development of all <strong>SAP</strong> products <strong>and</strong> <strong>SAP</strong> portfolios of<br />
industry-specifi c solutions. Products include <strong>SAP</strong> Business<br />
Suite applications, the world’s leading family of enterprise<br />
applications (including solutions for customer relationship<br />
management <strong>and</strong> supply chain management); the <strong>SAP</strong><br />
NetWeaver platform, the fi rst fully integrated, serviceoriented<br />

President, Customer Solutions <strong>and</strong> Operations <strong>and</strong><br />
Member of the Executive Board of <strong>SAP</strong> AG<br />
Léo Apotheker has been a member of the Executive<br />
Board of <strong>SAP</strong> AG <strong>and</strong> president of Customer Solutions<br />
<strong>and</strong> Operations since 2002. In this role, he is responsible for<br />
all of <strong>SAP</strong>’s customer operations, including consulting,<br />
education <strong>and</strong> training, sales, marketing, small <strong>and</strong> midsize<br />
business, <strong>and</strong> fi eld services. Prior to that, he was president<br />
of <strong>SAP</strong> Europe, Middle East, <strong>and</strong> Africa (<strong>SAP</strong> EMEA) from<br />
1999 to 2002. Since joining <strong>SAP</strong> in 1988, Apotheker has held<br />
other positions within the company, including CEO <strong>and</strong><br />
founder of <strong>SAP</strong> France <strong>and</strong> <strong>SAP</strong> Belgium (1995–1997) <strong>and</strong><br />
president of the <strong>SAP</strong> Southwest Europe region (1997–1999).
