Economic, Intellectual and Political power are all keyingredients in the overall preparedness for any and all industries.• Goals: 1) To promote training, development, resources and the appropriate networks forpeople who are unemployed and /or reside in underrepresented communities 2) To secureaccess to any and all opportunities and eliminate decrease the overall Unemployment ratewithin our communities by at least 10 %. 3) To obtain stable and secure household bycreating opportunities and platforms for training, developing and networking.• Inputs• How Unemployment impacts the entire household across the board Preparedness from a skills, education and learning aspect are key components Young adults who have chosen to work or have vocational interests should not be leftout. Building experience/skills can be fun –Volunteerism, Internships & Apprenticeships HBCU are the keys to our future –be creative and inclusive People of influence across the board can connect people who are in need of a job STEM opportunities are increasing and those opportunities should be leveraged Mentor a person in need of a job, direction or constructive advice Quality of Life• Barriers to Services Job and Skills training are not provided in the underrepresented communities Preparedness is not stress and opportunities are not afforded to our communities Networking is not trusted within the communities of need Testing Challenges are apparent within the community –no easy answers orsolutions available No job opportunities for candidates who do not have economic, political andintellectual resources Vocational and Non Traditional educational funding is being cut our of budgetsacross the country• Improving Education, Training and Development for our Communities ensures betteropportunities long term. Identify Testing centers for our Community at an early age (middle school ages) Identify and support Vocational and Non Traditional schools so that you can reachany all in need.
