4EditorialThis updated edition of the Archives News is published after a process ofconsultation with the editorial team and staff. It is an updated version in the sensethat the cover has been revamped to fall in line with the branding of the NationalArchives and Records Service of South Africa under the Department of Arts andCulture. It has been updated to include images reflecting the functions of theNational Archives and the heraldic insignia of the country.
