It was a movie premiere <strong>with</strong> a differenceas The Ten Commandments is the first movie coproducedby <strong>ST</strong> <strong>Electronics</strong>.iVL Animation, a studio of <strong>ST</strong> <strong>Electronics</strong>(Digital Media) Pte Ltd, co-produced The TenCommandments <strong>with</strong> Promenade Pictures (US) andHuhu Studios (New Zealand). Created primarily forthe DVD market, The Ten Commandments is the firstin a series of 12 titles to be released by PromenadePictures as the Epic Stories of the Bible and is a faithbasedstory presented in 3D animation, unlike othercommercial entertainment animation movies.The Ten Commandments is a first in a number ofthings for iVL Animation and Singapore. This isthe first 3D digital animated movie co-producedby a Singapore company that features recognisedHollywood voice talents the likes of Sir Ben Kingsleyas the narrator, Christian Slater as Moses, AlfredMolina as Ramses, Elliott Gould as the voice ofGod and other renowned talents. The script wasby Ed Naha, who wrote the screenplay for Honey, IShrunk the Kids.
