I’ve been happily married for 44 years and have livedin beautiful sunny Florida for the past 30 years. My oldest daughteris a teacher in Broward County and has 4 children, my youngestdaughter is a vice-president of a large investment company andhas 2 boys, and my son is married and his wife just gave birth totriplets, 1 boy and 2 girls. My husband is retired and enjoying it,and I own a dance academy here in Weston and continue to teachdance.”Valerie Cosgrove Corrigan MC ‘65 has been married 44 years,and has two daughters and two grandchildren. The occasion was tocelebrate Dennis’ granddaughter’s third birthday.Garrett J. McAuliffe, Ed.D. MC ’66 was named theDistinguished Faculty Member of the Year at Old DominionUniversity for 2011. He published his sixth book, Handbook ofCounselor Preparation and married Nancy Taylor Minguez onMay 28, 2011.Rosemary Wells MC ’66 will be retiring this year fromDelta Airlines after 40 years in the airline industry, 20years with Pan Am and 20 with Delta. She is lookingforward to spending time in her condo in Florida next winter.On Long Island, she will be teaching “Spanish for Beginners”in the Adult Education program in The Farmingdale Schooldistrict. She wrote: “I’ve been teaching adult ed for three yearsnow. I really enjoy it.”Anthony Terracciano MC ’67 wrote to tell us “Mater Christias well as my parents and grammar school St. Joseph’sprovided me with a strong Catholic foundation. I am currentlya Lector, Eucharistic Minister and leader of a small Christiancommunity group from my home parish of St. Luke’s in NJ. Now marriedand living in Smithtown, NY, Allan has a positive attitudein life and looks back on his years at Mater Christi as someof the best years. He is still in contact with Joe Petitt, a fellowswim team member when Father Shine was our coach.Hernan Silva, MC ’77, was recently promoted to Chief of theSystems Engineering and Integration Division in the NationalOceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) SatelliteService. Hernan leads a dozen NOAA Project Managers who aredeveloping, testing and implementing satellite ground systemsto receive and process environmentalobservations from futureweather satellites. Hernan is agraduate of Pennsylvania StateUniversity (BS-Meteorology)and University of Maryland(MS-Engineering Management).He and his wife Judy and sonSebastian live in Maryland.Odalys Jauregui-Perez SJP ’82 ishappily married, living in Baysideand wrote: “Just wanted to findout what is the latest NEWS fromthe Class of 1982.
