If for any reason during the first90 days after purchase you are not completelysatisfied with your new Karastan carpet,we will replace it with another Karastancarpet of comparable value at no charge. . . no questions asked!To the original purchaser of Karastan carpetcovered under this 90-Day SatisfactionAssurance program, Karastan will replaceyour Karastan carpet with another Karastancarpet selection as provided in this section ofthis warranty document for a period of ninety(90) days from the original date of purchase(the “Satisfaction Guarantee Period”),provided that the carpet is properly installedand maintained according the Carpet and RugInstitute Residential Installation StandardCRI-105 over cushion meeting Karastanstandards in an owner-occupied, singlefamily,indoor residence and subject to yourcompliance with the recommended carpetcare and cleaning procedures found atkarastan.com under warranty information.If, within the Satisfaction Guarantee Period,you wish to exchange your new carpet fora different Karastan style or color, yourKarastan carpet retailer will replace thecarpet with another Karastan carpet styleor color of equal or lesser value. Youmay prefer to replace your flooring witha Karastan carpet upgrade, which youmay do under this Satisfaction AssuranceGuarantee, provided that you pay thedifference in retail price between youroriginal selection and your replacementselection. If you choose a replacement thatis a lower price than your original selection,Karastan will not refund any differencein price. This Satisfaction Assuranceprogram does not include any paymentof monetary compensation. This is a onetimeonly replacement and does not includereplacement of cushion, labor, or freight.Simply contact your Karastan retailer withinthe timeframe of the Satisfaction GuaranteePeriod and indicate you wish to chooseanother Karastan carpet under the SatisfactionAssurance program. Replacement includesmaterial only and specifically excludes alllabor, including, but not limited to, laborto remove existing carpet, labor to installthe new carpet, move furniture, constructpermanent built-ins such as cabinets andbookcases, or move or install equipment orelectronics, and also specifically excludes anyother cost or expense of any kind whatsoever.What Is Not CoveredIn addition to the exclusions listed in the sectionsof this document entitled “Warranty Exclusions”and “Non-Warranted Carpet Characteristics”, alsospecifically excluded from the SatisfactionAssurance program is carpet that has beensubjected to abuse, vandalism, alteration, ordamaged by smoke, fire, flood, wind, lightning,or any other casualty event.
