National CARF Accreditation Training:Getting Prepared for SuccessNovember 3, 2011Training LocationRoyal Conference Center3801 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC 27607This training is intended for agencies that are preparing for CARF re-accreditation andwant to make sure they “get it right.” The faculty will present CARF expectations andchanges that have been made in the requirements.The trainers will advise you on how to be compliant in the following key areas: Emergencies & Health and Safety Professional Ethics and Ethical Code of Conduct Strategic Integrated Planning How to get input from persons served Human Resources and Employee Training Requirements Cultural Competency Plans Performance Improvement Activities and Plans Accessibility PlansHandout material will include useful tools for you to use with your agency colleagues.Faculty: Lakisha Perry-Green, MPA. Ms. Perry-Green is an experienced CARF surveyorin Behavioral Health and Child and Youth Services. She also has experience as a QualityImprovement Director within a CABHA.Danielle Coleman, LCSW, is an experienced social worker and trainer who has workedwith numerous providers in North Carolina.Cost: $100.00 per person
