Corporate Character<br />
Eships is a ship-owning company which will invest in marine<br />
transportation assets with low to medium risk, at the same time as<br />
providing an acceptable return on investment. Eships provides<br />
professional, reliable, innovative and competitive transportation to blue<br />
chip customers. Eships partners with first class companies and service<br />
providers in the shipping industry to develop its worldwide reputation for<br />
quality and service.<br />

ESHIPS<br />
Background<br />
Eships was set up in 1996 as a ship investment company based in<br />
Abu Dhabi - United Arab <strong>Emirates</strong>. Currently Eships has three<br />
shareholders: Oman & <strong>Emirates</strong> <strong>Investment</strong> Holding Co (OEIHC),<br />
Abu Dhabi <strong>Investment</strong> <strong>Company</strong> (ADIC), and Mubadala<br />
Development <strong>Company</strong>. Due to its focused management and the<br />
dedicated efforts of its influential shareholders, Eships has<br />
managed to establish a name both regionally and globally. Eships<br />
maintains strong relationships with its first class customers and<br />
has entered into strategic partnerships with reputable partners for<br />
specific projects. Eships has a Business Plan to expand its ship<br />
owning and operating business in the product/chemical tanker<br />
markets and dry cargo market.
Tankers<br />
Eships has focused its efforts on the small product tanker business. The company has excellent<br />
relationships with first class customers on a world wide basis, including oil majors and traders. The<br />
business plan of Eships includes further investments in other tanker segments in order to provide its<br />
customers with their tonnage requirements in the future.<br />

Dry Bulk<br />
Eships has a proud history in the dry bulk market and its ships services long term contracts for various<br />
industrial customers in the Arabian Gulf carrying products such as Iron Ore / Steel, Alumina / Aluminium,<br />
Caustic Soda, Aggregates / Limestone.<br />
Recently Eships formed a joint venture with Oldendorff Carriers of Germany to import 2.4 million tones of iron<br />
ore per annum from Brazil and Canada to Abu Dhabi. The deal also includes a 10 year trans loading project off<br />
