<strong>LBC</strong> <strong>32<strong>00</strong></strong>/<strong>00</strong> <strong>Line</strong> <strong>Array</strong> <strong>Indoor</strong> <strong>Loudspeaker</strong> | 3Easy InstallationThe positioning of the drivers in the array generates largervertical opening angles for high frequencies, reducing thenarrow 'beaming' of higher tones. As an example, thevertical opening angle is still 18° at 4 kHz. Having largervertical opening angles makes installation easier, as thepositioning of the loudspeakers is easier because they covera wider area. An extremely wide horizontal opening angle of130° at 4 kHz means that a single loudspeaker can providenatural sound reproduction over an extensive listening area.Suppressed Side LobesAll conventional column loudspeakers produce a main lobeof sound, which is directed at listeners, and a number ofunwanted side lobes. The <strong>LBC</strong> <strong>32<strong>00</strong></strong>/<strong>00</strong> has highlysuppressed side lobes in the vertical plane, typically at least8 dB of suppression from the 5<strong>00</strong> Hz octave band at 90°.This provides a much clearer, less colored sound, andgreatly reduces the possibilities for acoustic feedback.Sound ReproductionThe positioning and very high quality of the 2 inch driverscontribute significantly in making the <strong>LBC</strong> <strong>32<strong>00</strong></strong>/<strong>00</strong> a veryefficient line array. With a sound pressure level of 106 dB at1 m, at 30 W, loud and clear sound reproduction is possibleeven at a significant distance from the loudspeaker.The high-quality loudspeaker drivers used in the<strong>LBC</strong> <strong>32<strong>00</strong></strong>/<strong>00</strong> give excellent, natural sound reproduction offrequencies ranging from 190 Hz to 18 kHz. This ensuresthat all important frequencies for superb speechintelligibility are heard in the listening area.EVAC CompliantThe loudspeakers ceramic terminal block, thermal fuse andheat-resistant, high-temperature wiring ensures that, in theevent of a fire, damage to the loudspeaker does not resultin failure of the circuit to which it is connected. Thismaintains system integrity, ensuring that loudspeakerswithin the same loudspeaker zone in other areas can still beused to inform people of the situation.Certifications and ApprovalsAll Bosch loudspeakers are designed to withstandoperation at their rated power for 1<strong>00</strong> hours in accordancewith IEC 268-5 Power Handling Capacity (PHC) standards.These loudspeakers also comply with the SimulatedAcoustical Feedback Exposure (SAFE) test, whichdemonstrates that they can withstand acoustical feedbackat full power for short durations.
