Proficient in GPS, Matlab, Map making and documentation. Field work consisted of mapping of marsh pools from aerial photographs and GPS methods, extractingsediment cores, water sampling, plant sampling (both aqueous and terrestrial), and pool categorizationbased on relative ages and characteristics. Lab duties included dissecting cores that were taken from salt marshes and categorized for theirterrestrial, Loss on Ignition (LOI) process, wet and dry sieving plant and sediment samples.Laboratory Technician 2006 - 2007Climate Change Institute, University of Maine, OronoDuties included sampling Dry Lake cores from Antarctica, ashing samples for percent organic matter,preformed titrations to filter particulate matter from diatom samples, sediment sieving, making slides fordiatom analysis, and counting diatom populations.1 of 3
