ConclusionsIn addition to Aluminum tris (O-ethyl phosphonate)(Aliette), other phosponates work equally well forsuppression of Phytopthora root rot of blueberry.Phosphonates also provide equivalent control to thatof mefenoxam (Ridomil Gold). The cost ofphosphonates and ease of application, bycomparison to other root rot fungicides, will makethem an attractive alternative in blueberryproduction.
