Is it the aura of this place, its specific energy? Or maybe the people present here? Their permission that Iwould be able to express here what is the essence of me?I'm walking around in the Lokator club and I see variety of people. They seem to be strange. They do not behave as ifthey were in a bar - well, maybe except for one girl who dances on the bar - but she is dancing all the time. Without asecond of break. It is not normal too..Another girl persuades me to using her body as a sheet of paper - I can write on herbody what I want. Really? Can I? I do it or not, depending on whether I want it today or whether I really a dare. A boy isoffending me, apparently is having a problem with women. He regard me as "repugnant Incarnation of Evil”. Does herevile the fair sex every day - or just today, he spat out, what was deep in his throat? Suddenly I feel happy because oneof the girls is sharing with me her happiness - she is in love. She is not able to keep that feeling in herself, it must beexpressed. Is in me something that needs to be expressed? Are saying me: "Here you!" Can I? But ... what should I to say? Theykeep repeating: "You are a diamond, you're a volcano, and volcano has to explode".Maybe I'll try today, and like them, these young, full of life, people - I'll do it. After all I can.Today I become a member of Hydeclub.

She knows how to do it,has recipe, the ingredients are known from the popular literature(...) She is preparing it right beforeour eyes. She personally takes the role of his heroine, Steffie, a modest clerk dreaming of love andother life. Steffie lives with an old aunt, who is regaling her with gloomy stories of family fromBoszanska Krupa and is still losing false teeth. Steffie has friends who are trying to help her inchoosing the way of life (…) There are also candidates for the prince from a fairy tale (...) But Steffiesomehow - despite the advices of colleagues - fails in love and sex.. Even when she finds the onlyone on the course of Spanish, it turns out that her publisher did not accept her novel, because itturned out to be too short.Mockery of popular literature and newspaper guides?Yes, but the author and director spareddepressive Steffie (…) though she is comical in his attempts to adapt to the world (and patterns ofwomen's literature), she is lovely and quite reasonable. Anna Smołowik Seffie game (and the authorof the bestseller) with grace and energyBarbara Kober as Aunt is great - her solos, the stories ofBoszanska Krupa produce an atmosphere of clean absurdity. Peter Pilitowski excellent plays allSteffie's amants (and lover of one of the girlfriends). \”Joanna Targoń (Gazeta Wyborcza)

Italy-Brazil 3:2directorWatch on vimeo: vimeo.com/kowalska/italy-brazilItaly-Brazil 3:2 Davide Enia(performative reading)Director: Justyna KowalskaThe monodrama performed by Piotr BiedrońVideo Cast:Iwona Sitkowska, Andrzej Popiel, Artur WołochGrzegorz Borys Roman, Agnieszka Więckowska,Wojciech Trela, Filip Więckowski28.03.2011 Lokator club (Kaków) / Centrala71cycle of readings DramofonExcerpt of review:“The audience relocate to 5 July 1982, when decisive match takes place in Barcelona during the XII World Championship,España'82 - the match between Italy and Brazil. On stage there is only a couch and Pitor Biedroń wearing a track suit, warming up before the confrontation with the viewer. Piotr Biedroń undertakes the heroic task - he carries the entire drama..Like a skilled commentator, he talks about the match, which always remained alive in his memory, when the Italians won theSoccer World Cup XII. He goes back to childhood memories, he talks about every detail of that unforgettable evening, because according to him, and his superstitious family, even their smallest gestures have a direct impact on the outcome ofthe match. Viewing the match becomes a ritual for them, signified by each cigarette National Without Filter smoked by BrunoCurcuru and each cup of coffee made by Cettina Matassa, and consumed by Vincenzo Filippone - and all these activitiesare for them a guarantee of victory in the match.Piotr Biedroń wonderfully kept the audience in constant suspense, at the same time perfectly using the potential of comedy.Justyna Kowalska rightly delegated entire responsibility to Biedroń, but fortunately allowed him a short break, filled withrecording of Vincenzo Filippone waitng in queue to toilet and talking about Dynamo Kiev team, which was execued forwining he match with the Germans during the World War II. The recordings containing a condensed picture of ritualsperformed by the Italian family that perfectly complemented the story of the narrator - also deserve appreciation..”Marta Goławska (Teatralia Kraków)

Plays (unstaged)playwrightThe Massacre at Paris(large-cast dramma)Drama based on Marlowe's plays. (The stream of prescribed dramas, like Heiner Müller's and SarahKane's adaptations.)I have emphasized the brutality of the language Marlows pieces. The difference from the original mainlyconsists of changing perspectives and the main theme. In my interpretation I especially highlighted thetragedy of Mother (Queen Catherine de Medici), who for the good of the nest, do not hesitate to wring aweak chick's head - and whose actions produce the opposite effect, the collapse of the family.Art is full of brutality, especially from the hands of Catholic, which by means of crosses and rosaries carryout a bloody massacre in Les Huguenots (The St. Bartholomew's Day massacre). My sister is a vegetable(absurd comedy - 5M, 5W)Ciała Niebieskie(poetic drama – 1M, 2W)The history of erotic triangle: the astronomer Hevelius, his second wife Elizabeth Koop and ... the deadwife, who can not leave.Hevelius tries, using his precision measure instruments, to capture the sky as a map of the stars.Hevelius and Elizabeth are connected to each other by deep bond built on shared mission: to count allthe stars - a bond which the master's first wife (who is dead for several years) is trying to destroy. Finally the two women - the living one and the dead one agree with each other to a joint effort to maintainmotivation of Hevelius. The three moves in the world of poetry, the beauty of heaven and even on the surface of the moon.Excerpt of review:“Polish author's playful drama takes place in a simple one-room decorations.Protagonists - a familyconsisting of a mother and her three grown children. Son, the Brother figure, this old divorcee remainedunder the influence of pathological motherhood mom, who genuinely cares about the youngest sister -Helen. Sister - lesbian also sincerely cares about Helen. And Mother, who with the active support of herchildren, trying to give the youngest daughter in marriage, because Helen is only hope for ... extension ofthe family.Text exudes sensual mix that with a creative director can not only be fun. Camouflage is mixed with a kindof exhibitionism, and the lyricism is deepened by the silence, appearing here as an equal part of thedialogue. Student - fiance, finally caught in the snare of a family, is in such a bizarre dialogue with Helen. He says, that he asks, answers, comments for two, because Helen does not speak. Or rather, to put itmore precisely - its response, taken in the conventional sense of the dramatic term - it is silence, thesilence of collapsing on stage instead of answers. This exciting category of expression on stage! In the context of this drama is nothing surprising, since Helen- daughter and sister so hard (but you have to admit that with feeling, and even tact) give away forhusband - is a... CARROT. Actually ... a carrot. This drama touches the difficult and delicate subject - of difference, incompatibility, adultery, unconventionallove - and above all the vision of the ideal woman as one that keeps silent.”ADiTThe fish, who sways the water(monodrama - 1K)Grandma Zina is about 80 years. She just bought herself a camera for which the doctor wrote theprescription. She bought it in America - by eBay. "And what - she can not? She can!"- She is a master ofthe Internet and she laughs with a forty-year-old people who do not know what is "the USB". Forexample, she once almost "clicked" a date with Mr. Janek. She is an optimist, she challenges the cultural stereotype of "oldage".The doctor has commanded to Zina video-diary leading to consolidate of social contacts and to maintainfamily ties, memory support (short-and long-term) and to give vent attacks of compulsive reminiscences.Zina in subsequent episodes of her Videoblog moves to the childhood. "When one folly is recalling, immediately another attacks your memory." – Zina says, showing the mechanism of action of launchedmemory. With subsequent plots 'I' is falling apart into multiple parts, disintegration occurs until Zina does notrecognize herself in previous episodes of Videoblog. We are witnesses of forgetting the facts, people, places.Zina's language also becomes degraded: a nationwide language gradually passes into the language ofher childhood - a dialect of Podlaskie.
