MICHELLE MALOFF ‘02, who just completed herfirst year at Oneonta, spent several weeks in second grade this June, helping her own former teacher (and always aunt!), Mrs. Loeb, andcurrent students to do their best. Michelle plans to become a teacher, and we know she’s going to be a good one!HANNAH ALEXANDER is going into her sophomore year at Drexel University in Philadelphia. As part of her co-op experience, she wasworking for the Philadelphia Convention and Tourism Bureau and on May 6 th , was giving a tour of Philadelphia to some European journalists.While in Constitution Hall, she spotted an SHDS t-shirt and then some more, until she found the entire SHDS fifth grade, theClass of 2010, on their class trip to Philly. It was so cool to connect this way!NIGHT AT THE MUSEUMMOSHE ROBERTS ’00 is entering his senior year at Binghamton University, where he ispre-med. He is interning at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center running asummer camp learning program for youth in grades K-9 involving projects like ospreybanding, insect and crab tracking and canoe hikes. Moshe Roberts is a dean’s list studentand winner of the Harpur Forum Scholarship and the Kressel Scholarship, givenfor community involvement. AlthoughNoah looks quite differentfrom when he attended SHDS,Mrs. David still looks thesame!The STONE FISH alumni are engaged in multiple fascinating activities.ISAAC ‘96 lives in Beijing, having graduated from Columbiawith a major in East Asian languages and cultures. Isaac is ajournalist, publishing in many sources, including InternationalNewsweek and The Economist. AARLO ‘99 graduated from Yalethis year, majoring in computer science and he and a colleagueare starting a small business. HUGH ‘01 is a sophomore at BerkleeCollege of Music, majoring in songwriting as a piano major. Heis in a band called “Stone Fish.” AVERY ‘06 is completing 9thgrade at Cazenovia High <strong>School</strong>.TATIANA ORLOVA ‘95 graduated from theUniversity of Rochester in 2005 and has beenliving in NYC since then. She currently worksfor the Lincoln Center Institute, which runsaesthetic education programming in cityschools. She is also pursuing her Master's inNonprofit Management/Community Developmentat the New <strong>School</strong> University Milano<strong>School</strong> of Urban Policy and Management. Inaddition she sits on the events committee ofArt for Change, a community arts as activismorganization in her East Harlem neighborhood. This past year shewas a Deputy Field Organizer for the Obama campaign.NOGAH SHERMAN ’86 was married to Scott Marshall, ZEVKANTER ’91 married Sarah Schwartz and JOHN DAVIS ‘91 andhis wife Lital became parents to daughter Tama.JUDY HABIB CONTENTE ‘75and DAYANA HABIBRAPOPORT ’93 dressed incostume and brought theirsons to the SHDS PreschoolPurim program this spring.We’re hoping they’ll be inaunt AVIVA HABIB ‘92’s KitaAlef before long!THE CLASS OF ‘86Page 3We couldn’t track down everyone who is in the Kindergartenphoto, but we did get the following updates:Phyllis Davis Zames recently moved to Jamesville with husbandMark and their four daughters, Talia, Henia, Leora and Julia.Phyllis is a writer and teacher and a busy mother. Talia is in 2 ndgrade and Henia will start Kindergarten next year at SHDS.Ilana Friedmann Zalika lives in New Jersey with her husband andsons, Noah and Joseph.Michael Rutner lives in North Dallas with his wife, Marilyn, Directorof Development for Akiba Academy and their daughter,Kayla. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania,Mike earned his law degree from Boston College. However, afterclerking for the Chief Bankruptcy Judge of NYC for 18 months andworking for three years at a large NYC law firm, he decided to goback to the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton <strong>School</strong> for anMBA. He is currently a Senior Financial Analyst for American Airlinesin Dallas Texas.Ann Kowel Levine lives in Santa Barbara, CA with her husbandand daughters Nicole and Haley, who is starting kindergarten inthe fall. She is a law school admission consultant and author of"The Law <strong>School</strong> Admission Game: Play Like an Expert."Zev Goodman lives in Burlington, VT with his wife Patti. He is themanager for Perrywinkle’s Fine Jewelry.David Marmor, M.D. is a cardiology fellow at Loyola UniversityMedical Center. He is married and has two children, a son and adaughter.Rabbi Nogah Sherman Marshall is the director of education of HarZion Temple in Philadelphia.Shiri Kremer-Davidson is a research staff member with IBM Researchin Haifa, Israel. She received her B.Sc. in mathematicsfrom Ben-Gurion University. Since joining IBM in 1998, Shiri hasbeen involved in various projects in the areas of monitoring parallelcomputing applications, UML application design, and RapidApplication Development (RAD) tools.Mrs. Davidson now lives in Israel.
