Lewis Chapter HRAMperformed the Consecration Ceremony. Theconsecration ceremony places a spiritualbond of protection on the Building so that allwe do is to glorify the GATOU.Companion Willie Hopkins, Companion Stewart White, PHP Dannie Surry,Companion Michael Wimbush, Companion Java WhiteThe Grand Master called everyone’sattention to this ceremony which the teamproceeded to the altar by singing “Jesuskeep me near the Cross”. There was given aprayer of purification of the water followedby each member going to the four points ofthe room The High Priest went to each pointand consecrated it with oil and water, thenall members return to the altar for the finalblessing which ended by the High Priestdeclaring.“This Place is now Consecrated for MasonicLabors, in the Name of God.”Helpful Chapter No. 210Worthy Matron Mary RobinsonOn Sunday August 23, 2009 the Lovely Ladies of Helpful Chapter No. 210 Orderof the Eastern Star of Portal, GA celebrated their Chapter anniversary at ParrishGrove Missionary Baptist Church in Twin City, GA. It was a lovely service andthe Sisters put together a wonderful program that was enjoyed by family, friends,and guests. The theme of their Anniversary was "Showing Sisterly Love". Theguest speaker was The Grand Associate Matron-Sister Lynnette Hymes ofSavannah, Georgia.
