Victorian State Schools SpectacularThe Victorian State Schools Spectacular is one of Australia‟s largest recurring performances and bringstogether 2500 Victorian government school students in a non-competitive theatrical event. It provides aunique opportunity for talented students to work with some of Australia‟s leading theatre professionals.This year‟s Spectacular, called Showtime, will explore themes of home, love and family, taking its audienceon a musical journey through the world of movies, television and the silver screen.Showtime will be staged at Hisense Arena, Melbourne Park on Sunday 18 September 2011 over two performances– a matinee at 11.00 am and an evening performance at 5.00 pm.For group bookings at discounted prices (a minimum of 10 or more) to attend Showtime, please contactMelbourne Park Group Bookings Office on 03 9286 1347 between 8.30 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Fridayand provide your school name and payment details.Discounted group tickets prices are: Adult: $20; Student 18 years and under: $14.The two schools that have the greatest number of tickets booked will each win one night‟s accommodation(17–18 September) at Oaks on Market to distribute at their discretion.
