Once approved, youwill receive a confirmation e-mail and your ez ride Access Card will be mailed to your office or home.You’re ready to reserve your car online or by phone.Reserve well in advance or within as little as half anhour before your desired departure. Reserve for aslittle as an hour or a whole day. ez ride provides24-hour access, 7 days a week to their entire fleet andguarantees exclusive use of the car for the duration ofthe reservation period.What is CarShare?CarShare is a neighborhood based transportationservice that allows people to use a car when needed,without the costs and responsibilities of ownership.It converts automobile use from a product to aservice, providing people with use of a car instead ofownership.Different kinds of cars are kept in dedicated parkingareas in the neighborhood. Members make reservationson-line or via a toll-free phone number, walk tothe parking area, access the car using a Smart Card,and drive off. They are billed at the end of each monthbased on usage.Ride – ez ride provides dedicated parking atconvenient locations in your neighborhood. 24-hourroadside assistance is provided. Each vehicle has agas card in case you need to fuel the car.What does it cost?You pay the following membership fees:Application fee $25Refundable security deposit $100Annual Fee $50Additionally, you are charged a usage fee at an hourlyrate of $10 or a flat rate of $75/day, plus applicabletaxes. The hourly rate includes 150 miles per day andthe flat rate includes 200 miles per day. Additionalmiles will be charged at the rate of $0.25 per mile.
