This book is about rights.Rights are things you cando, or things that peoplecan not do to you.One of your rights is toknow what your rights areand what each right means.If you need help, talk tosomeone you trust.1

You have the right not to behurt by anyone.3

4You have the right to talk topeople in private.You can go somewherealone and talk.

You have the right to open orsend your own mail.You do not have to showanyone else.5

You have the right to haveyour own things.7

8You have the right to practicethe religion of your choice.You can believe what youwant about God.

You have the right to have aplan of care.You can help create, orchange it.9

10You have the right to healthyfood each day.

You have the right to clothingthat fits you and is right forthe weather.11

12You have the right to see thedoctor and dentist.

You have the right to go toschool.13
