Their emotional preparation must, and can be, as sound as their tactical andtechnical training.<strong>Resilience</strong> training teaches important coping skills that accomplish two goals:1. Optimise mental fi tness and performance in all situations across the life span.2. Prevent and/or promote recovery from stress conditions - such as PTSD, depression, anxiety,suicide, violence, substance use disorder, and relationship problems.We’ll explore practical evidence-based and evidence-informed principles and skills - skills taught in bothtraditional and positive psychology clinical and classroom settings, especially emphasising primaryprevention.Course outcomes can include a greater sense of physical and psychological well-being, improvedoccupational and social functioning, greater coping confi dence and job retention, and the ability to helpothers become highly resilient.Course Outline: <strong>Resilience</strong> <strong>Training</strong>1.
