Louisiana Board of Examiners of Certified Shorthand Reporters
Public Hearing Change Notice
The Louisiana Board of Examiners of Certified
Shorthand Reporters finds it necessary to
change the Public Hearing date that was
published in its Notice of Intent on April 20,
2012 because the original date of Monday, May
28, 2012 lands on Memorial Day. The new date
has now been scheduled for Friday, May 25,
2012 at the Orleans Criminal District Court,
2700 Tulane Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana.
The hearing will be held between the hours of 2
p.m.-4 p.m. Interested persons are invited to
attend and submit oral comments on the
proposed amendments.

ETHICS CREDIT NOTICE
The Louisiana Board of Examiners of Certified
Shorthand Reporters (“CSR Board”) discussed at
its February 19, 2010 meeting the
implementation of the required continuing
education ethics credits. The CSR Board agreed
that anyone who has not obtained two C. E.
credits in Louisiana Ethics for the current twoyear
cycle will not be liable. However, the
requirement will be in full force and effect for
the 2011-2012 C.E. cycle.
