Elite Yachting (China) is planning to open a small chandlery business on the main road
close to the sailing club to cater for the needs of the local and expat sailing
community. Currently the shop is being prepared with a planned opening towards the end
of October. Intention is to stock consumables, sailing gear, ropes clothing etc. and
also have links to a mail order chandlery for more specialized items. A repair facility is
also envisaged to handle the usual knocks and scrapes to the boats sailing in and around
Dianshan Lake.
Hokkaido is the up and coming holiday
destination for Chinese tourists and
offers 4 season holiday activities. I have
one 2 bedroom (sleeps 4) apartment in
Niseko available for China based
residents at ‘laundry cost’ only (sheets

basis until the end of October. Get
yourself to Niseko via Sapporo and
the accommodation is yours
(subject to availability). Hokkaido in
her autumn colours is stunning. Now I
have got your attention: Ski apartments in Niseko (home of some of the best
powder snow in the world) are for sale at reduced prices, now from Rmb1.8 million
only (subject to exchange rate fluctuations and commitment by end 2009) for October
2010 handover, only 5% downpayment. Snow is water so skiing must be a water sport.
