Conditions of entry
Participants
The competition ‚THE WISHING TABLE’ is open to glass artists,
glass designers, artists and designers as well as clients of TGK and Pro Vetro partners.
Employees and members of TGK GmbH are welcome to take part in the competition and prize
awarding, are however not eligible as prize winners.
Exhibits
Only one exhibit per participant is accepted.
The submitted item must be made mainly of glass.
The item can be either one or three-dimensional.
The piece of work must not be older than two years.

Documentation
Announcements via Internet. The participant fills out every form on Internet and uploads 1 to 3 photos
of her/his object in high resolution (at least 300 dpi at the size DinA 4, data format as mentioned,
maximum size 10 MB per each photo) A short biography in German and English, if both possible,
and a photo should be send directly with the announcement. In exceptional cases we are
able to send you the announcement documents by mail.
Closing date / entry deadline
The closing date is March 15 st . 2009. (The entry and documentation must arrive at TGK GmbH,
D-33758 Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock, Helleforthstr. 18-20 on March 15 st . 2009 at the latest.)
These can be sent in by post or email. Receipt will be confirmed by email.
Identification
The submitted image files will be numbered consecutively on receipt and will be exhibited under this
number right up to the prize awarding.
Awards and prizes
The winners will be announced on the occasion of the TGK Glass Fair on May 8 th and 9 th , 2009
in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock.

Public prize
As well as the first 3 prizes there will be a so-called “public prize” elected only over internet.
The exhibits will be presented on the internet as from 01.04.2009 under www.tgk.de
The public prize awarding will take place by email. Every IP address receives one vote.

Exhibition of Entries
The first 10 awards (photos) will be displayed as a photo presentation on the TGK premises from
May 8 th to 9 th , 2009. The first 10 winners will be published in the magazine “Glasshouse” Besides the
photo presentation all exhibits will appear on the internet under www.tgk.de for the duration of one year.
Ownership and liability
TGK GmbH assures all participants that all photos and/or image files will be handled with the
utmost care, however cannot take on any form of liability for these items at any time.
Copyright and usage rights
Copyright remains with the artist
The participant concedes to the recipient on submission of the entry the unlimited rights, free of any
charge, for use in printed matter, on the internet, at exhibitions and presentations, on data media as
well as advertising in connection with the competition.
Exclusion from the competition
TGK reserves the right to exclude exhibits showing disrespect for human rights.
Costs
There is no charge for participation
The participant is responsible for all transport costs, including return.
The participant declares his/her consent to the conditions of entry on submission of photos
and image files. The participant assures thereby that the exhibit as well as the photo are his
own intellectual creation and property and that he possesses at least the co-ownership
copyright.
