Since1990 he has been heading a Management Development andMarketing Consultancy organisation. Heis a frequent contributor to conferences and seminars.Craig Murphy, B.ScCraig Murphy graduated university with an Honours degree inBiochemistry and Genetics and spent 10 years in management in alarge National FMCG corporation. During this time he gained aPGDip in Multimedia and Computing and gained an interest inteaching. He set up his own training and ICT consultancy company in1998 and after fulfilling all the necessary exam and teachingcertifications he became an Microsoft Master Instructor in 2000.Over the last 8 years he has gained recognition as a MicrosoftCertified Trainer and an Adobe Certified Instructor working with adiverse client base from Large Multinational firms, several councils,and many SME's.Dr John Black PhD, MA, B.Soc, ScJohn was Reader in Human Resource Management and Director ofthe Japanese Management Research Unit at the WolverhamptonBusiness School. John's career has been split almost equally betweenindustry and education, including a spell with Texaco UK. Before hisretirement he has written and published extensively in the field ofHuman Resource Management and Labour Relations. He has alsobeen Visiting Fellow in Industrial and Labour Relations at CornellUniversity in USA. His current research interests are ManagementControl and the impact of cross-cultural influences on HumanResource Management. He is a frequent presenter at Conferencesand Seminars.Dr Jon WhiteDr Jon White is a consultant in management and organisationdevelopment, public affairs, public relations and corporatecommunications management, and has worked in public and privatesector organisations in Europe, the United States, South Africa,Australia, and Canada. Clients have included companies such asShell, Motorola, British Airways, National Express and AEATechnology, as well as governments in the UK, Canada, Norway andMacedonia.A visiting fellow at Henley Business School in the UK, he is also anhonorary professor of public affairs in the University ofBirmingham's School of Business, and a visiting professor at theUniversity of Central Lancashire at Preston, in the north west ofEngland, and Cardiff University in Wales. He is a visiting professor atHeilbronn Business School in Germany, teaching there on theSchool's MBA programme.He has written articles and books on public affairs, public relationsand corporate communications practice, including How toUnderstand and Manage Public Relations (Business Books, 1991) andStrategic Communications Management: Making Public RelationsWork, with Laura Mazur (Addison-Wesley, 1995). Hehas also written a number of management case studies for teachingpurposes on organisations such as Dunhill, Lloyds of London, AEATechnology, Diageo and the South African company, Barloworld.Anapproved trainer with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations inthe UK, he holds a doctorate from the London School of Economics.He has made presentations to university and professional groupsaround the world.Michael Bland, FIPR, MBCIMichael Bland is a consultant, author, trainer and lecturer inCorporate Communication, Crisis and Issues Management, MediaInterviews, Presentation Skills, Creativity, Reducing Stress andEnjoying Life.He has a high international profile as an inspirational speaker and isthe author and co-author of 13 leading communication text booksand guides, numerous articles and two popular humour titles. Hislatest book on crisis and issues management, When It Hits The Fan(Centre Publishing), was published in 2004Michael served a commission in the Army and was a survivalinstructor before working in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as asales manager for Reuters. After five years in finance and financialjournalism he set up and ran the first PR activity for the Institute ofDirectors and played a key role in putting it on the map. In 2000 sheset up a management consultancy providing strategy and operationaladvice for design and architecture businesses. She is well versed incompany administration at all levels from strategy, finances andhuman resource management to marketing. Rachel is a Master'slevel lecturer at a number of universities and provides professionalpractice seminars to a wide variety of professional organisations.Rachel's PhD was completed at Birkbeck, School of Management andOrganizational Psychology, University of London researchingentrepreneurial strategy in design companies.Andy GreenAndy Green has delivered inspiring talks and training sessions oncreativity, public relations, brand and personal communications andmanagement for conferences around the world from San Franciscoto Shanghai. His vast experience includes such diverse activities asacting as Finance Director, launching a unit trust, acting as Head ofRisk for a derivatives broker and establishing a new unit linkedinsurance company in Belgium.Peter BurbidgeSenior lecturer at the university of Westminster. He qualified as abarrister in 1973 but has been mainly involved in legal training sincethen, initially .for the College of Law where he was a principallecturer and since 2000 for Westminster Law school, where heteaches on the LPC. She was made a Fellow of the Chartered Institute ofPublic Relations (CIPR) in 2007 for her work in internationalcommunication including internal communication, and on corporatesocial responsibility.She is editor of the CIPR's Guide to Effective InternalCommunication (now in its second edition) for their PR in Practiceseries. Pamela is chair of the CIPR's International Groupand a member of the CIPR Council.Jeremy Stranks, Msc, FCIEH, FIOSH, RSP, CP.Jeremy Stranks commenced his career by undergoing training, andsubsequent working, as a public health inspector with differentgovernment authorities.
