She was made a Fellow of the Chartered Institute ofPublic Relations (CIPR) in 2007 for her work in internationalcommunication including internal communication, and on corporatesocial responsibility.She is editor of the CIPR's Guide to Effective InternalCommunication (now in its second edition) for their PR in Practiceseries. Other awards and publications include the top paper awardfrom the International Association of Business Communicators forher work on internal communication in BP, a paper on global internalcommunication published in the Journal of Communicationmanagement and she and her team won the Azerbaijan Union ofJournalists annual award for the best corporate social responsibilityprogramme in Azerbaijan.Pamela is visiting guest lecturer at the University of Cardiff andBirmingham City University. She is a member of the Thames ValleyUniversity advisory committee for its MSc in CorporateCommunication. Pamela is chair of the CIPR's International Groupand a member of the CIPR Council.Jeremy Stranks, Msc, FCIEH, FIOSH, RSP, CP.Jeremy Stranks commenced his career by undergoing training, andsubsequent working, as a public health inspector with differentgovernment authorities.
