The all-round SchwarzwaldCard
Experience what the black forest has to offer - active or
relaxing - the Black Forest card „SchwarzwaldCard“ is your
admission ticket for about 120 destinations for a day trip and
attractions all over the Black Forest!
When is it valid?
The Card provides multiple free admittance to the attractions
named in the folding card on any three days chosen between
1 April 2012 – 31 March 2013, as well as one-time admittance
to many select attractions outside of those three days
(bonus partners). The Belchen Gondola during ski season, the
Feldberg Lift, the Waldkurbad Spa in Freiburg and the culinary
specials can only be used one time. The Vita Classica Thermal
Spring allows two admittances. SchwarzwaldCard Europa
Park additionally provides one free admittance to Germany’s
largest attraction park in Rust within the three days selected.
If Max can’t make it, then Moritz can go!
The SchwarzwaldCard is transferable from one day to the
next. However, it is not transferable within one day.
Family friendly!
The Schwarzwald FamilienCard is valid for 2 adults and 2
children. Children can even be young adults up to the age
of 17. Only one card is issued, which can only be used by one
family as a unit (family members do not receive individual
cards).
General terms and conditions of business
for the SchwarzwaldCard (black forest card)
This translation of the general terms and conditions of business for the SchwarzwaldCard
only serves the purpose of your convenience. Merely the German version
of these general terms and conditions of business are legally binding.
Following terms and conditions of usage the issuing and use of the Schwarzwald-
Card, called in this text SWC, are effective:
1. Contract basis:
Merely buying the SWC as such does not represent having a contract basis with
one of the service providing partners named in the brochure Faltkarte SchwarzwaldCard.
Service providing partners are firms that offer their services in the map
SchwarzwaldCard. The holder of the ticket enters into the current contract with
the service providing partner himself before or at the moment he uses the named
service. The Schwarzwald Tourismus GmbH is not the tour operator and does not
provide the services. It acts merely as an agent for the use of the services connected
with the SWC. The service providing partners offer the holder of the ticket after a
one-off payment the usage of the currently named services in the map SchwarzwaldCard.
2. Service level:
All service providing partners are obliged to make available all named SWC-services
unrestricted and totally to the usual seasonal opening hours and their general
terms and conditions of business to the holder of the SWC. Some service providing
partners, however, have due to weather and seasonal conditions different operating
times which do not cover the whole period of validity SWC. It is possible that the
restrictions result out of individual blocking periods. STG will anounce service unavailability
(to the extent reported to STG) on the Internet. By purchasing a card, SWC
holders agree to inform themselves accordingly via the Internet. The STG accepts
no liability for the services of the service providing partners. The SWC entitles the
holder of the ticket to repeated free admission to the attractions and facilities
listed in the map during the period of validity of the ticket. The services of some service
providing partners can only be used once or rather twice with the SWC. These
services are marked as such in the map.
3. Transferability:
The SWC can be transferred to another person from one day of use to the next.
Within the day of use the card is non-transferable and is only valid in combination
with a valid identity card.
4. Validity:
The season during which the services of the service providing partners can be used
is mentioned in the map SchwarzwaldCard. The SWC is valid on any three days inside
this season. The period of validity starts with the day of the first use and ends
on the day of the last use at midnight. Besides this you can visit many selected
attractions, listed in the map SWC as bonus-partners, each once also outside this
three-day validity period. Every SWC use sets off a blocking period of eight hours vor
the use of the services, so that a service which can be visited more than once, can
be visited again but not before this time interval of eight hours expires.

5. Prices:
The mentioned prices in the map SchwarzwaldCard and on the homepage
www.schwarzwaldcard.info for the SWC are valid. The ticket remains in possession of
the STG until it is paid.
6. Children‘s tickets:
In purchasing a SWC for adults, children between the ages of 4 and 11 inclusive can
buy a SWC at a reduced price. Children below the age of 4 do not receive a ticket of
their own, they, however, can make use of the services for free when they are with
an adult in possession of a valid SWC.
7. Family ticket:
The family tickets are valid for two adults and three children under the age of 17 inclusive.
The family receives only one ticket which the family can only use as a unit (family
members do not receive the tickets of their own).
8. Usage:
To be able to use the ticket the holder of the ticket shows his SWC to the service providing
partner, the service providing partner will then check the validity of the ticket at a
terminal or through mere sight and check the identity of the holder before completion
of the contract. The holder of the ticket has the obligation to show a valid identity card
by request. If the holder can not do so, the service providing partner can refuse him the
use of the SWC.
9. Misuse:
If a ticket is misused or in a case of suspicion of misuse the service providing
partners have the right to or better still are obligated to withhold the SWC without
replacement. The holder of the SWC is liable for misuse of the ticket and the use of
the SWC by a third party.
10. If the SWC is stolen he is obligated to report this theft to the following phone
number +49 761.8964682. The Schwarzwald Tourismus GmbH accepts no liability and
no claim for a replacement or refund of the purchasing price exists.
