March 16, 17, & 18, 2007<strong>Montgomery</strong> County <strong>Science</strong> FairMONTGOMERY AREA SCIENCE FAIR ASSOCIATIONWelcome to <strong>Science</strong>MONTGOMERY, one of the largest science fairs in the United States, a Celebration of<strong>Science</strong> in its 51st year. A tax deductible organization, <strong>Science</strong>MONTGOMERY is dedicated to encouraging andpromoting an interest in science to the youth of our Area, encouraging scientific activities, and bringing togetherscientists, engineers, mathematicians, educators, students, and parents. <strong>Science</strong>MONTGOMERY provides avenue for over $45,000 in prizes for outstanding projects in middle school and high school divisions. In additionto the cash awards for students winning 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd places in their categories, and ISEF trips provided by<strong>Science</strong>MONTGOMERY, special awards from area businesses, scientific, professional and educational organizations,and the United States Government, include cash, scholarships, trips, bonds, banquets, certificates, medals,merchandise and books<strong>Science</strong>MONTGOMERY is affiliated with the Intel International <strong>Science</strong> and Engineering Fair (ISEF). We followthe Intel ISEF rules and regulations to assure the safest scientific research methods. The top senior high schoolwinners will be sent, fully funded, to the Intel International <strong>Science</strong> and Engineering Fair 2007, to be held inAlbuquerque, NM. There they will compete against winners from the United States and over 38 foreign countries.By participating in the Intel ISEF, students become eligible for over three million dollars in scholarships, tuitiongrants, scientific field trips, summer internships and other awards.A magnificent group of sponsors allows <strong>Science</strong>MONTGOMERY put on this Fair for our students. MedImmune,Inc has returned for a third year as our top level sponsor.
