PRESIDENt SEARCH –NATIONAL UNIVERSITYThe Board of Trustees of the <strong>National</strong><strong>University</strong> System invites nominations,applications, and expressions of interestfrom potential candidates for the positionof president of <strong>National</strong> <strong>University</strong>.Founded in 1971, <strong>National</strong> <strong>University</strong> is the secondlargestprivate, nonprofit institution of higher educationin California and among the largest in the United States.With 23,000 full-time equivalent students and 135,000alumni, <strong>National</strong> <strong>University</strong> is dedicated to makinglifelong learning opportunities accessible, challenging, andrelevant to a diverse population of students. Five schoolsand one college—the College of Letters and Sciences;the School of Business and Management; the School ofEducation; the School of Engineering, Technologyand Media; the School of Health and Human Services;and the School of Professional Studies—offer over 100graduate and undergraduate degrees, and 22 teachercredentials at more than 50 locations throughoutCalifornia and across the nation. The recent reaffirmation of <strong>National</strong>’saccreditation is the longest extension in the <strong>University</strong>’shistory. As a result, <strong>National</strong> <strong>University</strong>’s next Capacityand Preparatory Review will be scheduled in fall 2019,followed by an Educational Effectiveness Review inspring 2021.<strong>National</strong> <strong>University</strong> is headquartered in La Jolla, California.
